The script for the film based on my character “Anita Luna” was brought to me by my long-time collaborator, Gianluca Caprara.
Anita Luna had always been performed live in theatre but as soon as I read the script, I knew it could work on film too. She’s such an extreme character but always authentic. We shot the film in 3 long days (and nights). Anita Luna is now immortalized on film, for the first time!
What is it about? The film is set after the recent lockdown where Anita Luna is at home, alone, not being able to accept the reality of her career decline. We see her breaking down, doing crazy things. Melancholic but ironic. Real things we can relate to. We see her brother trying to help her, will he succeed?
